Public art

Global Village Murals

A landmark mural initiative at Market Street and Manchester Boulevard, directly beneath the “Sports and Entertainment” digital billboard — transforming three commercial buildings into historic canvases as Inglewood prepares for FIFA 2026, the Super Bowl in 2027 and the LA28 Olympics.

The lead muralists are IOS's Grand Griots. In West African tradition the Griot is the keeper of history and the weaver of community stories.
