Lisa Diane Wedgeworth

Lisa Diane Wedgeworth is an LA-based artist whose work takes form as painting, performance and video art. Her work has been exhibited in Los Angeles, Scotland and Paris; and she has been invited to perform at Williams College and Northwestern University. She has lectured about her work at colleges and universities in Southern California and holds part-time teaching positions at Los Angeles City College, Glendale Community College, UCLA and Cal State Univ, Long Beach.

She is a recipient of a variety of artist opportunities including the Georgia Fee Artist / Writer Residency (Paris, France) and the 2020 COLA Individual Artist Fellowship.

A cultural producer, Wedgeworth exhibited emerging artists in her studio-based project space PS 2920 between 2015 - 2016 and produced the public platform, Conversations About Abstraction to share the voices of abstract artists historically excluded from the Western canon.
