Katherine Juarez

My name is Katherine Juarez, I am 20 years old currently in my third year of college at UCLA. I am double majoring in biology and Chicano studies. I am a proud first-gen Chicana who was born and raised in Inglewood & South Central. I have always had a passion for fashion and incorporating elements of my culture into my outfits. During the peak of the pandemic I picked up my first film camera and fell in love with film photography. My goal with photography is to capture the beauty I find within my community and it's residents. I love to capture the authenticity within each subject and their environment.
