EDWARD EWELL

Born in LA, CA where I attended primary and secondary schools, I earned a degree in Culinary arts before being drafted into the miliary. During my tour of duty in Southeast Asia, I became interested in photographing the landscape. Realizing that the images I captured left an impression on those who viewed them, I decided to continue developing my photographic skills by being a member of the LA Photography Center. In addition, I became a member of the Black Photographers of Los Angeles and the Sierra Club. Narrowing my creativity to scenic, landscape and seascape photography, I felt the time was appropriate to return to the basics by sharing with my fellowman the works of our very first artist, God our Creator. "Expressions of Praise" is the primary thrust behind my images as I attempt to share God's handiwork through the means of photography.
