SIDNEY TUGGERSON JR

Color drives my work, which involves experimenting with abstract shapes, angles, and form, light against dark in oil paint, acrylic, and watercolors. I am an intuitive artist working with photographs and live subjects, recently exploring ceramics and mosaics.

I reacquainted myself in 2005, devoting my time to painting and being creative in the arts. However, I am primarily self-taught, and while experimenting with various mediums, I also became comfortable working from my imagination and life.

I'm at the point in my life where I can devote extended periods to my passion for painting and continue my exploration.

Someone said my work is bright and joyful colorfully. I love this description as I try to bring the same qualities to my life.
