Rachel Hakimian Emenaker is an Armenian American artist raised between Suriname and Russia, currently living in Los Angeles. She graduated with an MFA from UCLA in 2024. Working across painting, sculpture, installation, and craft, her work explores the complexity of multiculturalism, diaspora, migration, and globalization. She combines traditional Eastern and Western art and craft techniques—such as textile and tile making, with histories connected to global trade—to delve deeper into these themes.
