JOSIE MACIAS

Josie Macias who exhibits her artwork under the moniker YOSH, is a multidisciplinary visual artist that lives in Inglewood and works in the surrounding areas of Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor’s in Studio Arts from California State University Dominguez Hills in 2019. Her work integrates diverse media like sculpture, assemblage, paint, and found objects. Being raised in Los Angeles, her art practice is predominantly influenced by her environment and Mexican culture. She has had group exhibitions at the California State University Dominguez Hills Art Gallery (Carson), Art Share LA (Los Angeles), El Camino College Gallery (Torrance), and Mt. San Antonio College Art Gallery (Walnut). Baldwin Park Arts and Recreation Center Gallery (Baldwin Park).
