Debbie Lockie

Debbie Lockie is a California native, and has had the privilege of being an Inglewood resident for the past 6yrs. Debbie began her career in art as a graphic designer, creating work with her hands and then moving into the commercial art world as a design production manager. Throughout Debbie’s life, she has found passion in expressing emotions through art. 15 yrs ago she became a certified art for healing facilitator. Taking a blank canvas and pouring one’s emotions on to it can be truly therapeutic. Currently Debbie’s art practice is mixed media, using everything from found objects, acrylic, marker and mod podge. Debbie’s paintings are driven by emotion and they are very layered, like all of us
